Folk in the Fall is a series of 7 groundbreaking concerts staging the best
sights and sounds from today's diverse folk and roots scene. It runs
throughout next week from the 3-9 November at South Bank Centre, London.

TOMMY EMMANUEL PRESS DAY 30 OCTOBER 3003
If you are in London tomorrow (30 Oct) Australian guitar phenomenon, Tommy
Emmanuel is holding a press day. The award-winning, platinum status, Grammy
nominated Australian guitarist has amazed audiences with his unique style of
playing and is fast becoming a worldwide phenomenon. Tommy is supported by

JOHN TAMS AND BARRY COOPE NEWSFLASH
John Tams is described by MOJO as 'one of the ultimate British songwriters'
and has just written and performed the music for Of Mice and Men in the West
End starring Matthew Kelly. As a duo John Tams and Barry Coope have a

A UNIQUE CELEBRATION
'As I Cycled Out on a May Morning.' is a unique celebration to mark the
centenary of the collection of the first folk song by Cecil Sharp. Ashley
Hutchings (Fairport Convention, Steeleye Span and The Albion Band) has
brought together a handpicked collection of singers and musicians including
Emily Slade, Simon Care and Roger Wilson for this original piece of English

BERT JANSCH & SPECIAL GUESTS - A 60TH BITHDAY CELEBRATION
One of the godfathers of modern rock, folk and blues, takes over the Queen
Elizabeth Hall for a special one-off concert with very special guests to

player, John McCusker was awarded 'Musician of the Year 2003 at the BBC

June Tabor - June Tabor stands unequalled as an explorer of a song
's soul and a performer of gripping commitment. Her recorded work has over
the last twenty-five years embraced traditional ballad and jazz standard

'Voices at the Door' - Get into the Christmas spirit and join
Coope, Boyes and Simpson,
Fi Fraser, Jo Freya and Georgina Boyes for an evening of local and
traditional carols, community harmonies and Christmas street songs from
Yorkshire and Derbyshire sung in outstanding
